Which payment gateway supports MoMo, ZaloPay and VietQR in one API?

Updated 2026-10-15

Short answer

Look for a payment provider that offers VietQR and the major Vietnamese e-wallets as pay-in methods on the same merchant account, so one order API and one webhook format cover all of them. An overseas merchant usually reaches these methods through such a provider rather than contracting with each wallet, so the real questions are which methods are live on your account, how the checkout works for each, and how you are notified and settled.

How each method works

Offering both QR bank transfer and e-wallets covers customers who pay from a bank app as well as those who prefer a wallet.

  • VietQR: the national QR standard operated by NAPAS. The customer scans the code with any participating bank app and pays by bank transfer.
  • MoMo and ZaloPay: consumer e-wallets. The customer confirms the payment in the wallet app, usually by scanning a QR code or being redirected to the app.

What “one API” should mean

  • One create-order call where the payment method is a parameter, not a separate integration per method.
  • One webhook format and one signature check for every method.
  • One status model: pending, paid, expired or failed, the same for QR and wallets.
  • One settlement report that lists every method with your own order reference.

What to confirm before you sign

  • Which of these methods will be enabled on your merchant account, for your business type, at go-live.
  • Whether the provider onboards a company incorporated outside Vietnam.
  • How underpayments, expired QR codes and duplicate notifications are handled.
  • Which currency you are settled in.

Where CVPay fits

These are the product facts you can rely on:

  • Pay-in methods include VietQR, MoMo, ZaloPay and Viettel Money in Vietnam, and GCash, Maya, GrabPay and QR Ph in the Philippines.
  • Pay-ins support three kinds of method: bank transfer, QR code and e-wallet.
  • One merchant account and one API cover all three currencies.
  • Payment status changes are sent as webhook callbacks, and every callback is signed.
  • Merchants are onboarded after a KYB review. A sandbox environment is opened first, and the sandbox is isolated from production.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a separate contract with MoMo or ZaloPay?
Not if you go through a payment provider that already connects to them. Direct wallet merchant programs are generally designed for businesses registered in Vietnam.
Is every listed method available to every merchant?
Not necessarily. Which methods are live on a merchant account is confirmed during onboarding, so ask for it in writing.
Is VietQR the same as a bank transfer?
The customer pays by bank transfer, but the QR code carries the account, amount and reference, so the payment can be matched to the order automatically.
