VietinBank — VND collections and payouts
CVPay is a payment provider that lets businesses accept VND payments from VietinBank account holders through VietQR and send payouts directly to VietinBank bank accounts.
What is VietinBank?
VietinBank (Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade) is one of Vietnam’s "Big 4" banks, state-owned and among the largest by branch network. Its breadth across both consumer and corporate segments makes VietinBank accounts ubiquitous in Vietnamese payment flows.
Every VietinBank retail account works with VietQR, Vietnam's national QR standard operated by NAPAS. When your customer banks with VietinBank, they can pay you by scanning a QR code in the VietinBank mobile app — no card details, no manual account entry, and the transfer references are matched to your order automatically.

How it works with CVPay
Accepting payments (pay-ins)
Create an order through the CVPay API and show the returned VietQR code to your customer. Each QR is dynamic: it carries the order amount and reference, which eliminates underpayment and manual reconciliation.
Sending payouts to VietinBank accounts
Submit a transfer through the API with the recipient's VietinBank account number and name. Optional recipient-name verification is available before dispatch, which materially reduces failed and misdirected transfers.
Integration
One REST API covers every payment method CVPay supports. Create an order, show the returned QR or account details to your customer, and receive the result on your webhook. A hosted cashier page and sandbox environment are available.

Do my customers need anything besides their VietinBank app?+
No. Any VietinBank retail customer with mobile banking can scan a VietQR code and pay. There is no card enrollment or extra registration step.
What are the transaction limits?+
Limits are set per merchant based on your business profile and KYB review. Typical configurations support both small consumer payments and larger B2B transfers — contact us with your expected volumes.
Can I verify the recipient name before sending a payout?+
Yes. The API offers a recipient-name check so you can confirm the account holder before dispatching funds, reducing failed transfers and fraud disputes.
